The
Summer Place Theatre The Summer Place has been Naperville’s premier community theatre since the 1960's. The first seasons were actually held in a circus tent on an empty parking lot on the North Central College Campus. Today, most performances are held at the beautiful auditorium at Naperville Central located at the corner of Aurora Avenue and West Street just west of the downtown Naperville area. The purpose of The Summer Place has always been to not only provide affordable, high quality entertainment for the people of Naperville and its surrounding communities, but to also offer a creative outlet for people of all ages. The shows feature veteran actors who have worked with such other troupes as The Second City and Improv Olympics. Audience interaction ensures a completely original performance each night. Their popular "Whose Line" show is on Fridays & Saturdays. The late show on Friday is adult only.
